I am not too worried about French, though I am sure that transitioning from Parisian to Tahitian French will be quite the change...(I was a French major at BYU) but I am looking at Tahitian, thinking it looks like a bowl of vowel soup, and that.... that's it!! This is what I will relentlessly study at the MTC. Tahitian. I am going to focus on it.
So let it be known!
Mission Goal #1 -- Teach a lesson in Tahitian the first week I get there.
(Another thing I learned from these blogs...setting enormous goals is the thing to do. Then you work, pray, pray, work, and pray some more, and miracles happen. Amazing) So, there it is! I know it might be a simple lesson. It may be painful stumbling over words, but I am going to work like my life depends on teaching that lesson! and let God do the rest...
Hooray for crazy goal setting.
Let the work begin!
