-The outside slip (cover) has a sheet of paper with PLEASE RETURN TO (Name) and (number) written on it
-Put a copy of your mission call letter and any correspondence you have had with your mission
-Photo copy all important documents (passport, DL, etc) ... you will need them
- Hole punch your mission packet and put it in here
- Put a global To Do list in here, with EVERYTHING that needs to get done before you leave. Then sort another page into NOW, SOON, and BEFORE (date) categories, so you can start checking things off.
-Create a word doc with sections and print out what you anticipate packing. As other ideas come into your mind, write them in. Update as needed.
- I hunted down every possible RM who served in Tahiti that I could find to ask questions. They would often call back at random times during the day, so I was glad I had all of my questions collected in once place. Again, sort into categories (MTC, Packing, Culture, Mission Life), type out what you can think of now, and pencil in more questions as they pop into your mind.
In the inside pockets I keep items that need to be mailed out, as well as sticky notes with short term to-dos and reminders.
Ahhh, organization. Doesn't it feel good?
